Get in to the surf industry with no experience required, other than surfing experience that is!
The ideal candidate for Stewart Surfboards part time salesperson/cashier position LIVES to surf and LOVES to talk about it! Use your superb people skills to chat up customers with confidence and sell them the absolute BEST gear to make their day at the beach epic.
Computer literacy, superb phone/communication skills, quick learning, reliability, and positive attitude a must! Past retail experience a plus, but not required.
SURFBOARD MANUFACTURING TECH
Location: Stewart Retail Store and Glass Shop in San Clemente, CA
Job Type: Full-Time Preferred (Part-Time Available)
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable, hard-working Surfboard Manufacturing Technician to join our production team. This hands-on role involves working directly in the surfboard shaping and finishing process. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working with tools and manual processes.
You will play an important role in ensuring our surfboards meet high quality standards through careful workmanship and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:

Routing surfboards according to production specifications

Applying slurry coats (sealant) to EPS boards

Performing light sanding and surface preparation
-
Routing and installing fin boxes
-
Maintaining clean and organized work areas

Following safety procedures and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process
Requirements:

Experience working with your hands in a manufacturing, workshop, or trade environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
